MYTH: Braces are for teenagers

FACT: In the UK, some practices have 50% adult patients. In the United States, about one-third of all patients are adults.

Some adult treatments are cosmetic, but many others are complex procedures to fix major problems that only appear in adulthood, even if the patient has braces as a teenager.
